Le Japon est un pays que j’ai toujours rêvé de visiter, pour ses paysages urbains et ruraux incroyables et ses villes originales. Je suis un grand amateur de cuisine au wok, et il me tardait de goûter cette cuisine traditionnelle préparée par de vrais cuisiniers japonais.
Je me suis donc décidé à réaliser mon rêve et j’ai pris un billet A/R pour deux semaines d’immersion totale au Japon. L’aventure commence ! Tokyo, la capitale du Japon, est une ville aussi magnifique que bizarre, pour ne pas dire farfelue, mais c’est précisément ce qui fait son charme. Chaque endroit est mémorable et mérite qu’on s’y éternise, depuis les quartiers animés de Shibuya et Shinjuku au district geek de Akihabara.
Passé le premier wow-effect qui se traduit par une explosion visuelle, j’ai tout de suite cherché un restaurant où je pourrais enfin faire honneur à mon amour pour la cuisine asiatique. Je me suis alors arrêté dans un restaurant proposant de nombreux plats préparés dans un wok. La différence est incomparable, je n’ai jamais dégusté un plat aussi délicieux que ce premier wok au Japon. J’ai bien sûr essayé de nombreux autres restaurants traditionnels ainsi qu’un maximum de Street Food que l’on trouve à tous les coins de rues.
Lors de mon court séjour, j’ai fait route vers le Mont Fuji, puis j’ai visité le château Matsumoto lors d’une escale vers Takayama. Je suis ensuite allé à Kanazawa visiter l’incontournable jardin Kenroku-en. Pour terminer j’ai fait une escale à Kyoto et enfin Osaka que je ne pouvais pas manquer lors de ce premier voyage. Cette première expérience culturelle et culinaire du Japon m’a fasciné, et je prends des cours de cuisine avec un cuisinier Japonais pour retrouver ces saveurs incroyables de woks qui ont pimenté mon séjour !
